The applications of Electroencephalogram (EEG) have been extended to out laboratory and clinics recently due the advancements in technical capabilities. There are various advantageous EEG, making it a preferable method for wide range applications; is noninvasive method, portable, offers good time resolution sufficient spatial resolution, besides there low cost EEG systems available commercial use. Since early uses mainly as monitoring diseases pathologies, sleep staging event related potential researches, has intertwined with undesired signal types which we call artifacts. These pose great challenges practice based methods such averaging diagnosis diseases, single-trial analysis relatively recent application brain-computer interfaces. However, many techniques developed under study better detection mitigation these adverse events. main artifact their handling discussed this brief summary.
